Happy Thanksgiving from the Water Boils! These petrified waterfalls formed from calcium carbonate and other minerals present in the waterfall. There are only two petrified waterfalls in the world: one in Oaxaca and the other in Turkey.

Afterwards, we also visited the Tule Tree (El Tule), the thickest tree in the world and one of the oldest trees in Mexico (over 2000 years old). The weather was wonderful during our visit, making it my favorite stop of the day.

Finally, here’s a picture from my dog boarder. The boys look good together on Thanksgiving!
